The questioned proffered today was:
"Why does the color blue indicate something is raspberry-flavored?"

My thoughts:
Because education standards in the United States are, frankly, dismal. Far too many American children have never seen a fresh raspberry, let alone a farm. Rightly, the color blue ought to indicate that a fruity treat is blueberry or serviceberry flavored. Or possibly that it's unnatural, full of the chemically processed artificial sweetener high-fructose corn syrup, and ought not to be ingested.
Please feel free to add your own conjecture to the comments section of this post.

But high-fructose corn syrup is made from corn, has no artificial ingredients, has the same calories as sugar and is okay to eat in moderation!
ReplyDeleteAnd I take offense to being called a "sheeple". Just because there are more of us and we have lovely white coats that are much better suited for luxurious wool fabrics doesn't mean it's okay for you to sit in your corner and insult us.
And I take offense to your clear ethical lapse. It's okay to be an elitist, conformity-minded sheeple, but it's not okay to note the obvious socio-political ramifications within the fold? I, dear Hugo, merely observe. It is you who act when you ought not and fail to act when you'd have been well served to do so.
